Manchester United legend Roy Keane has blasted the club for being happy with their performance despite losing to Arsenal in their Premier League opener. He recently revealed that the expectation at the club is so low that MUFC looked comfortable with the defeat.
Speaking to the press, while he believes the new signings have improved the team, he is still worried about how low the standards have dropped in recent years.

According to him, however, he expects results to improve after the defeat at Old Trafford because it is always difficult against the Gunners
“Overall, I think the game was poor second-half, the expectations at United are so low that everyone’s comfortable with a 1-0 defeat.
It does worry me (that), couple of the new signings, there’s a bit of encouragement with that, they get you up the pitch, results will improve – it’s always tough against Arsenal,” he said.
Neville further noted that the lack of goals remains a worry, stressing that the team needs to start scoring to build up the confidence of the players.
He concluded by saying that the club didn’t spend so much
money to improve its attack just to keep falling short in front of goal.
“But it’s another defeat, no goals. There’s still that worry, I had it before the match, what we saw, but you never felt like United had two or three goals in them,” he added.
