Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford has been accused of giving up in Manchester United’s 4-3 defeat at Bayern Munich on Wednesday. Ex-England player, Stuart Pearce recently revealed this while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he always sees Rashford half-running back when he loses the ball, and attitude like that is clearly holding the team back.
Pearce added that too many Manchester United players currently play for the club like they have given up on the season before it even starts.
His words, “Man United are under the cosh because too many of their players have jacked it in. Rashford half running back and Casemiro half running back.”
“I’m not sure what Onana said when he has a rant at [Harry] Maguire in the summer but now is the time to have a rant at the back line, not just the back line but the whole team. Too many players who have given up the ghost and that is alarming. United are so off the pace and they are lucky that Bayern have not been more clinical.”
