MUFC Players Were Frustrated With The Defeat Vs Brighton – Maguire

Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire has come out to say that he and his teammates were frustrated with the defeat vs Brighton. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, it was not a good result by any standards, especially after the good performance vs Arsenal in the FA Cup, and the spirited fight back vs Southampton at Old Trafford.

He added that the players went into the Brighton game confident that they could get a good result, but they ended up performing very badly.

His words, “I think as players, we were frustrated and disappointed, coming on the back of a good away performance [at Arsenal] and beating Southampton. We have to look at ourselves and take responsibility. We were going into the game confident we had the belief we could beat Brighton but we didn’t perform on the day. I go home and think about how I can help the team get back to where we want to and that’s challenging given where we are in the league.”
