Manchester United legend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come out to say that he got upset when MUFC sold Scott McTominay to Napoli. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Scott was very important for the club last season when he kept popping up with goals, and his heart and knowledge of the culture could’ve still been useful at MUFC.
Ole added that midfielder definitely had the Man Utd DNA, and it was very sad to see him leave.
His words, “Scotty is doing well at Napoli. I’m upset that we let him go because he was important last season when he kept popping up with goals. His heart and his knowledge of the culture were important.
Scott has got the Man Utd DNA, and it’s sad to see him go. It’s similar to when Jonny Evans and Danny Welbeck left. I’m sure he’ll go on to do great things and show both his football and personal qualities. He’s a top pro with a great attitude. He scores important goals for club and country while always wanting to learn and improve.
It’s still good to see Bruno Fernandes and Harry (Maguire) doing well.”
