Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has said that the club will not make any new signings in January unless there is common ground between himself and director of football Jason Wilcox. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, only players who will improve the squad will be signed by MUFC next month, especially footballers who can help the team now and in the future.
Amorim added that losing key players like Amad and Mbeumo to AFCON will not force the club to make needless signings.
His words, “The only thing that we will try to bring now – and in the end of the season – are players that are perfect for our future.
It’s not going to be to save something in this moment, to cope with the losses of three players for AFCON. It’s not going to be like that. Even if we try to bring one player, maybe it’s not the position that we need more. So I don’t know what is going to happen, but it’s possible that we can do something.”
