Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger has come out to issue an apology after his rampage during the Copa del Rey final. Recall that the German CB threw a projectile at the referee before getting sent off, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, there is definitely no excuse for his classless behaviour during the match, and he is very sorry for his regrettable action against the referee.
Rudiger added that his reaction was a mistake, and he is deeply sorry to everyone he disappointed.
His words, “There’s definitely no excuse for my behaviour last night. I’m very sorry for that. We played a very good game from the second half on. After 111 minutes, I was not able to help my team anymore, and before the final whistle, I did a mistake. Sorry again to the referee and to everyone I have disappointed last night.”
