Ruth Kadiri’s recently acquired Range Rover SUV has been the talk of the town after reports suggested that she got it from her man.
Ruth has however come out in an interview with Linda Ikeji and said she had bought it through her own hard work after putting in work in both ‘old’ and ‘new’ Nollywood.
She revealed that she had been blessed through her work and had been consistently generating income and ploughing her money back into the business of film making and other business ventures.
She revealed that she had financed two movies and one of her movies Plantain Girls was the first Nollywood movie on African Magic Box Office.
She said: “It is high time we stop crediting every success of young, hard-working ladies to men.
“So sorry, if I have to say this, girls are not dumb or second class citizens that will always have to wait for ‘left-over’ from men before they can have decent ‘living’ of sort.”
Ruth Kadiri received an OND from Yaba College of Technology before getting into University of Lagos for a Degree in Mass-communication.
