Manchester United legend, Edwin van der Sar has come out to address the rumours linking him with a return to his former club as sporting director. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he still has unfinished business as Ajax CEO, and any return to Manchester United has never been as close as reports suggest.
Edwin van der Sar added that he definitely has a good relationship with the board because he had six fantastic years in Manchester.
His words, “It’s never been that close,”
“I have a good relationship with the board and I had a fantastic six years in Manchester, but I’m not finished here yet.”
