Arsenal drew Napoli earlier today in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League.
It’s not the draw Arsenal would have been hoping for after they fought back to overturn a 3-1 deficit from the first leg to beat Rennes 3-0 on Thursday night, sealing a 4-3 aggregate victory in the last-16 clash.
Immeditely after Friday’s draw took place, Napoli defender, Kevin Malcuit took to social media and sent a message to former teammate, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, which read: “My friend Aubameyang, let’s go!”
The Gabonese responded, “What a draw,”
“Let’s go to Napoli and face my friends.”
The first game is set to be played at the Emirates on Thursday, April 11.
