Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has said that physicality and energy are missing from his players this season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Magpies’ latest setback against Brentford was down to failing to grab hold of the game, and the body language of the players must improve for results to get better.

Howe added that his players just haven’t played like a Newcastle team the EPL has seen in recent seasons.
His words, “The dynamism wasn’t there. The physicality and the energy were missing. We scored early and could have grabbed hold of the game but we didn’t and let it slip away.
It didn’t look like a Newcastle team that we’ve seen in recent seasons. The body language, the collective spirit on the pitch, loads of little things weren’t there. It was a by-product of us just not being where we needed to be mentally.”
WOW.
