Bolivia’s Yasmani Duk urged Neymar to cool his “Charlie Big B******s behaviour” after refusing to apologise for elbowing the Brazilian in Thursday’s 5-0 defeat.
The 28-year-old left Neymar with a bloodied face after catching him forcefully with an elbow during their World Cup qualifier in Natal, but he showed no remorse.
Instead Duk had some advice for the Barcelona star, telling him to tone down his “cocky” attitude and show more respect to his opponents.
“Neymar was being a bit too cocky,” he was quoted as saying by AS. “He was like that with all of us throughout the game.
“All I was trying to do was cut off a move, which is what happens in football. Everyone knows the sport has its physical side – I had my nose broken and no one says a word.
“To become the best player in the world, he’s got to stop this ‘Charlie Big B******s’ behaviour and start showing some respect for his opponents.”
