Wales boss Chris Coleman has advised Gareth Bale he will do his career a whole lot of goood by staying at Real Madrid, amid reported interest from Manchester United.
Bale has won the Champions League three times in four seasons with Los Blancos, but Jose Mourinho has said that he would be interested in bringing the Wales international to the Premier League if he ever became available.
“I think from our point of view my opinion is that La Liga, the tempo and physicality is completely different to the Premier League,” Coleman said, in quotes reported by Wales Online. “Technically some of the teams there are absolutely tip top.
“Being selfish, he’s better off at Real Madrid. You work all your life to get to the top, you don’t want to give that up.
“Where do you go from Real Madrid that’s better? There’s one or two clubs up there but none better.”
