Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has said that he has spoken to Cole Palmer about his future at the club. This comes amid talk of the playmaker being homesick, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he can confirm that the England international is very happy at Stamford Bridge, even though he is going through personal problems at the moment.
Rosenior added that Palmer was frustrated after the Brentford game because he could not perform at the required level for the club.
His words, “I’ve had numerous conversations with Cole and he seems, and is, very, very happy to be here. He is a huge part of our long‑term plans, he’s an outstanding player. Every player goes through difficult moments in their career with injuries, but that is no indication of his quality.
There was frustration in the Brentford game – not because he isn’t happy here, but because he couldn’t perform at the level he wants to for the club. My job, and the club’s job, is to get him performing consistently at the level he wants to.”
