In a bid to foster unity and reconciliation within its ranks, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has directed all members involved in intra-party litigations to withdraw their court cases.
The directive was issued on Tuesday in Abuja after the party’s National Working Committee’s (NWC) 578th meeting.
The statement, conveyed by the National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Debo Ologunagba, emphasized that the decision was reached following a thorough review of the party’s current state.

It highlighted the directive’s alignment with the Constitution of the PDP, as amended in 2017, and its commitment to the principles of unity and reconciliation.
Ologunagba, in his communication, stated, “The NWC urges all party leaders, critical stakeholders, and members to remain united and continue to promote the values for which the PDP is known as a truly democratic party.”
Additionally, the NWC, during the meeting, considered and approved the report of the Establishment Committee for the appointment of a substantive director-general of the PDP’s Peoples Democratic Institute.
This move underscores the party’s commitment to organizational development alongside its call for internal cohesion.
