On Tuesday, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Dele Momodu said that if he had been in charge of the FCT ministry, he would have removed Nyesom Wike.
Momodu said that Wike should be kicked out of the party because he was trying to bring it down.
On the show Political Paradigm on Channels Television, Momodu said, “I don’t have the power, if I had power I would have fired him (Wike) long ago.”
Wike was called “unruly” by the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Strategic Communications.
An unruly person who wants to disrupt our party, he said, “? No one can be held hostage by a single person.
For example: “If we fought the military, and we fought the military in this country, and Tinubu was part of those who fought the military in this country, and then you will now allow a civilian dictatorship?”
Before the presidential election in 2023, Wike has been at odds with the PDP’s leadership.
The minister had opposed PDP’s Atiku Abubakar for president and supported President Bola Tinubu’s campaign.
Wike recently claimed that he is immune to expulsion from the PDP.
