Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Monday visited Kado-Kuchi in Abuja to campaign for candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the forthcoming Federal Capital Territory council election.
The election for chairmen and councillors across the FCT area councils is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

In a video seen by reporters, a large crowd gathered in Kado-Kuchi to welcome the former Anambra State governor.
Supporters were heard chanting slogans and expressing their backing for the ADC, with many repeatedly saying, “Our vote must count!”
The visit forms part of efforts to mobilise voters in communities across the Federal Capital Territory ahead of the polls.
