Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde, popularly known as Wasila Coded, has come out to say that her recent pregnancy journey was scary. After welcoming her 2nd child in July, Wasila has revealed that life as a pregnant woman was filled with health challenges and multiple emergency hospital visits.
Speaking via her Instagram page, she opened up about the struggles she faced while carrying her baby, sharing that it was not a healthy period for her.

According to her, she battled severe low blood pressure throughout the pregnancy, and the condition even made her collapse on a movie set at some point.
Wasila stated that her saving grace was her clinic being nearby when she collapsed on fellow actor, Kenny George.
“I started battling low blood pressure in January, but I kept strong and continued going to work. I remember collapsing on #iamkennygorge in early February while filming The Return of Sambala in Ikorodu. Luckily, my clinic is in Ikorodu, so I drove myself straight there,” she wrote.
The movie star further noted that the condition repeatedly landed her in the hospital, ultimately leading to very frightening dreams.
Admitting that embracing her faith saw her through eventually, Wasila stressed that she never stopped holding on to God.
“I was in and out of the hospital on emergency treatment about six times during the pregnancy, all because of the low BP.
I had so many scary dreams and death revelations even from people who neither saw me nor knew I was pregnant.
It was indeed a tough and frightening journey, but one thing I know for sure is that God was part of it. He would never leave me alone,” she added.
