PDP candidates for the House of Representatives in the just conducted 2023 general election have expressed optimism that their party will win in the Presidential Elections Tribunal.
It advised party members everywhere to keep their cool while they awaited the PEPC’s decision on the presidential election petition.
During an appearance at the NUJ Press Centre in Kano State on Tuesday, Forum Chairman Engr Ahmed Rufa’i Dagumawa issued the following statement.

As democratic leaders, we urge all PDP supporters to remain calm till the verdict is announced.
“We are expecting a very positive and good verdict that would enhance the dignity of the judicial system of this country,” the Forum declared.
As the “last hope of the common man,” the organization expressed confidence that the court would render a just decision.
The Forum denied knowing of any group inside the PDP in the State, despite reports of internal strife.
As far as the group was concerned, the PDP in the State was still one solid entity, with its members working together for the greater interest of the party and the people of the State.
