Scott has worked in the legal technology field for over 25 years, with experience leading the technology and business needs of several global law firms. He has served in numerous industry volunteer roles including six years on the Board of Directors for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and two years as ILTA’s President. Scott also held a position on the planning committee for ILTA’s 2014 and 2015 LegalSec (Information Security) Summit and is an active member of the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium, an IG ThinkTank sponsored by Iron Mountain with published works on IG topics for the legal industry.
Scott is a frequent speaker and author on a broad range of topics including leadership, hiring, security, risk management, information governance and technology. He enjoys teaching college courses in Business Management and Computer Science. In his spare time, he is an avid fan of jazz music, and enjoys participating in the Legal Bytes band showcasing songs about legal technology.
