The PDP governorship aspirants in Kaduna and Nasarawa States were advised to be on guard by Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
The election tribunal in Nasarawa had removed Abdullahi Sule, the governor for the All Progressives Congress (APC), and installed David Umbugadu, the candidate for the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Also, in Kaduna, the PDP candidate Isah Ashiru disclosed that the court declared the poll as inconclusive while the APC candidate claimed differently, notwithstanding the tribunal’s ambiguous verdict.

To overturn the tribunal’s decision, the APC will do everything, as disclosed by Primate Ayodele.
Ayodele, through his Media Aide Oluwatosin Osho, issued a statement saying that the PDP controls the states in question, with the exception of Kano, which the APC would retake if the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) does not move quickly.
He advised the PDP candidates in Kaduna and Nasarawa to pay close attention to the proceedings.
Ayodele claims that the APC in Nasarawa is making “serious efforts to overturn the tribunal judgment in their favor,” adding that the party is “very desperate” and willing to “do everything possible” to achieve this goal. If the PDP wants to win, it needs to drive in lockstep behind them and pray to God. PDP should not rest till success has been achieved.
If the PDP wants to win, it needs to battle for the states it already controls, such Kaduna and Nasarawa. The creators of the Muslim-Muslim ticket are the justice fighters in Kaduna and Nasarawa. They want to manipulate the judges to achieve their ends.
If the NNPP is not vigilant in Kano, the APC will be victorious. While the NNPP candidate snoozes, the APC is preparing to remove him.
But the prophet cautioned APC that blocking the triumph of law and justice would have disastrous results.
Allowing rule of law is the only way to keep our democracy from collapsing. He warned that the state could become unruly if the PDP’s gubernatorial candidates in Kaduna and Nasarawa did not receive justice in the courts.
