Popular singer, Tems, has come out to share the story behind her transition from working 9-5 to becoming a global superstar. She recently had her say during an interview with Billboard, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, she officially resigned from her digital marketing job in 2018 after realising that it wasn’t her path, but it was still a tough decision because she was taking a chance with music.
Tems added that it was a decision that had the potential to make or break her, so she is thankful to God for having no cause to regret 7 years later.
Her words, “It got to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore. It was really dawning on me like, it’s now or never. I was just putting it off until I developed faith that God will see me through wherever I go.
Spiritually, I was aware that digital marketing wasn’t my path… It felt really like life or death. It was like this can make or break your destiny.”
