A federal judge has denied a motion to release R. Kelly to home confinement. This is coming after his legal team claimed an assassination attempt was made against the convicted musician.
The latest denial is happening days after defence lawyers said R. Kelly was hospitalized for an overdose of medication administered by prison officials.

U.S. District Court Judge Martha Pacold immediately denied Kelly’s motion on Thursday, June 19, ruling that she lacks jurisdiction over this matter.
In June, the artist’s lawyer filed a flurry of motions seeking to get him released to home confinement.
Prosecutors responded to R. Kelly’s request and allegations in court filings, tagging them “deeply unserious and theatrical.”
WOW.
