Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to react to RB Leipzig’s plan for a ceremony to honour Josko Gvardiol on his return to his former club. Croatian outlet Dnevik recently revealed that officials of the German club planned to pay tribute to Gvardiol on his return to the Red Bull Arena with Manchester City on Wednesday night, but Pep was not having it.
According to reports, Pep Guardiola was against the idea because he would not entertain the possibility of any distraction ahead of an important game.
Recall that Gvardiol was a hugely popular figure in Leipzig with fans and club employees while he still played for the club.
