The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, has today announced that the recession will probably exit Nigeria in the first quarter of 2021.

While speaking on the on the economic recession during the ongoing 26th Nigerian Economic Summit, stated entered its second economic recession in the last five years.
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo noted that the government is collaborating with the private sector to enhance equitable growth and underpin national development.
The honourable minister however stated that the recession was as a result of the pandemic and many countries in the world have also slipped into recession due to the pandemic.
