Popular activist, Aisha Yesufu has come out to ask Nigerians to use football sense during our elections. She recently had her say via her social media page, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, Nigerians should imagine what would have happened if instead of fielding Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali during the AFCON competition, we came together to choose a goalkeeper from the 80s just because it was his turn.
Aisha added that religious and tribal sentiments never deliver positive results for the country.
Her words, “Imagine instead of fielding Stanley Nwabali we decided to field a goalkeeper from the 80s because it is his turn.
Make we Dey use football sense during election.
Religious and tribal sentiments don’t give you positive results.”
