Both All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu and APC National Secretary Senator Iyiola Omisore have resigned from their positions, as verified by the APC’s National Working Committee (NWC).
After the NWC meeting on Monday at the party’s office in Abuja, the news was made by Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Deputy National Chairman, North.
Senator Iyiola Omisore, the party’s secretary, and Senator Abdullahi Adamu, its national chairman, have resigned, he added.
As the North Region’s Deputy National Chairman and the Deputy National Secretary, “it is now incumbent upon me to assume the roles.”
Kyari stated that the Tuesday and Wednesday meetings of the National Caucus and the National Executive Committee (NEC) would be delayed.
He also mentioned that the meeting dates would be changed.
