The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha, has formally flagged off the party’s electronic registration (e-registration) exercise in the state.
The flag-off ceremony took place at the APC Rivers State Secretariat and attracted a large turnout, including members of the State Working Committee, trained coordinators and registration trainees drawn from all 23 local government areas of the state.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media and Communication to the chairman, Jacobs Chimezie Happiness.

Speaking at the event, Okocha underscored the importance of deploying technology in party administration, noting that the e-registration exercise would strengthen internal processes.
According to him, the digital registration system would ensure accuracy, inclusiveness and credibility in the APC membership register across Rivers State.
“Everybody should be registered without any discrimination,” Okocha stressed.
He urged party officials and coordinators to ensure a transparent and seamless exercise in order to deepen party unity and participation at the grassroots level.
