Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro has come out to say that Paul Scholes is his favourite legendary figure at Old Trafford. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he grew up watching Zinedine Zidane and having him as his idol, Paul Scholes is surely the name that comes to mind when it comes to Manchester United legends.
Casemiro added that Scholes was incredible in the red jersey and he really gave his all for the club.
His words, “So, in terms of idols in this position [midfield] my idol growing up was always [Zinedine] Zidane, [but] here at Manchester United it was always Paul Scholes,”
“The little guy [Scholes] was very good and what I loved about him when he played was that he was small but he went in hard and fair.”
