Former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will defeat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta 2027 general election.
Senator Omo-Agege made this prediction while addressing party faithful in Ughelli, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, where he was welcomed back to the state after serving twice as senator and deputy Senate President.
He assured supporters that the APC’s loss in the 2023 governorship election in Delta State would not be repeated in 2027.

He stated, “We have lost the 2023 general election but I am sure APC will take over the Delta State governorship position come 2027.”
Senator Omo-Agege thanked the people of Delta State for their support during his contest for the position in 2023 and urged them to continue supporting the party in future elections at all levels.
He also called for patience with the government of President Bola Tinubu, expressing confidence that Nigerians would soon experience the desired dividends of democracy.
Highlighting the APC’s achievements in Delta State, Senator Omo-Agege noted that the party had produced two senators for Delta Central and Delta South senatorial districts.
He urged continued support for the party at the local, state, and federal levels.
While sympathizing with APC members who died during the 2023 general election campaign, Senator Omo-Agege expressed respect for the Supreme Court’s verdict, which declared the opposition party the winner.
