England manager, Gareth Southgate has come out to say that it is highly unlikely that Luke Shaw will play in every match at Euro 2024. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the MUFC defender has battled injuries all through the season, so playing all the matches at Euro 2024 will not be realistic.
Southgate added that Shaw is definitely one of the best left-backs in world football, but there are players who can step in.
His words, “He’s going to be right on the edge of the season. We know now to play seven matches in a Euros is highly unlikely.
I thought Ben defended really well [against Brazil] and it was an important game for him. I don’t want to kill Ben. But Luke’s one of the best left-backs in world football, frankly.”

The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
