What’s the funniest thing about these NBA Final?
“Nothing,’’ comedian Chris Rock said, straight-faced.
The celebrity turnout for Game 5 was no joke, either. In fact, Rock seemed taken aback before the game when he ran into Snoop Dogg and rapper E-40.
Snoop created the biggest stir when he entered the arena, stopping to take photos with fans and greet TV analysts like Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson.
The star-studded crowd also included Sean Combs (a.k.a. P. Diddy), Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, retired soccer star Thierry Henry, and actors Jamie Foxx and James Franco.
Retired and current NBA stars on hand included Vince Carter, Rajon Rondo, Rasheed Wallace and Chauncey Billups.
Adding to the glitz and glamour of the star-studded affair, the VIP lot near the Golden State Warriors locker room featured a Rolls Royce, a Ferrari, two Bentleys, five Teslas and a small fleet of limo drivers.
As tipoff approached, Rock acknowledged he wasn’t sure where he was sitting and billionaire Marc Benioff assured Rock that the comedian could sit in one of his courtside seats.
Accepting the offer, Rock grinned and exclaimed, “I’m shameless.’’
