Ex-Tottenham striker, Teddy Sheringham has cme out to say that club chairman, Daniel Levy was wrong to sack Mauricio Pochettino many years ago. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he still doesn’t know why Pochettino was fired in the first place because he was clearly the right fit for the club.

Teddy added that Tottenham has remained stagnant since the club lost Poch, and Levy is to blame for missing the opportunity to push forward with the team under the Argentine manager.
His words, “I still don’t know why they got rid of Mauricio Pochettino in the first place. I think he was the right fit for Tottenham.
I think back to the time when they played in the Champions League final against Liverpool and then after that there was no movement in the transfer market to really enhance the club.
Sir Alex Ferguson always said if you stand still with the players you’ve got – you’re falling behind. So you always need to keep striving to be better. That wasn’t the case with Tottenham at that particular moment. They just didn’t look to go further.
Whether that was Pochettino’s idea of not wanting to buy anyone or Daniel Levy’s that he didn’t want to spend any money on new players, who knows? But it’s definitely a time when you need to enhance the squad, when you’re doing well.”
WOW.
