Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso has come out to issue a response amid reports of interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich for next season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is still assuming he would remain coach of Bayer Leverkusen next season, and his current goal is still to be very successful with the team.

Alonso added that staying at the club next season is not a problem for him because he loves the club.
His words, “I’m assuming that right now [I will be Leverkusen coach next season]. It’s not a problem for me. I know that my goal is to be successful with the team. This is my work. We are in a very good situation right now. We want to continue like this. Right now I’m the coach. That’s for sure. I have nothing new to say for the future. We will see. It’s normal that there are questions, but it’s off-topic now. Now is not the time for me to talk much about it.”
