Compare the Cloud’s new show, Disruptive Pitch is Looking for The Next Big Technology Pitch
November 4, 2016, (London, United Kingdom) – Compare the Cloud’s popular 24-hour online technology channel, Disruptive Tech TV, are currently accepting applicants from innovative UK tech startups companies to pitch their businesses in the second episode of its new monthly show, Disruptive Pitch, 22nd November 2016.
Having aired the first episode in October with over 12,000 viewers, the show will continue to be released once a month for the next six months. Each episode, which will be dedicated to a specialist industry, will put ten 3 minute pitches up against four expert judges. These industries will include Big Data and Open Source. The finalists from each round will then present for the final show and battle it out to become the One Pitch.
“There is a trend that many young pioneering startups struggle when trying to create exposure for their businesses.” said Andrew McLean, producer of Disruptive Pitch. “Compare the Cloud Limited is launching DisruptivePitch.tv which will shed light and support disruptive technology organisations as they emerge fresh on to the scene. The program will provide viewers with an enlightening and entertaining glimpse into the tech industry by way of the charismatic judges and innovating business pitches.”
The winners of each episode will advance to the final round where they will compete for the ultimate prize: a chance to keynote at the Cloud Expo Europe 2017 at ExCeL in London. All applicants will have the opportunity to network with major technology vendors and partners before and after the scheduled event.
“We are extremely excited to be a part of Disruptive Pitch 2016, having participated in the first episode. Genuine innovation makes a real splash, and the opportunity to pitch to Disruptive TV’s audience has been fantastic in getting the word out about Torsion Information Security.” said Peter Bradley, Founder & CEO, Torsion Information Security. “We’re very much looking forward to the next round.”
The first episode, released last month, is available here: https://www.disruptivetech.tv/disruptivepitch/ with other details here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6198948/ and garnered around 12,000 viewers its release.
“No PowerPoint,” added Andrew McLean. “We’re looking for people to explain their technology as they would to a client. Their success on the show will be judged based on whether or not they can adequately communicate the benefit and USP’s of their business in three minutes. As the show progresses we will work with each finalist to perfect their pitches for the final show”.
