The MLS Needs More Players Like Messi – Eddie Cue

Apple TV chief has come out to say that fellow MLS clubs to start spending on players like Lionel Messi. The head of Apple TV’s collaboration with MLS, Eddie Cue recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, what Inter Miami has done is an example of what needs to happen more often for American football to grow as it should.

He added that there is a level of excitement around the league since Messi arrived, so more fantastic players like him are needed.

His words, “I’m excited that there are teams that are definitely pushing hard. Obviously what Inter Miami has done is an example of that and I think there needs to be more teams doing that and I think there will be. At least I’ve seen it enough now that there’s a level of excitement… when anybody asks what do I want from anybody, any of the teams, I’m like, sign some more players!”
