Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane has come out to say that the club can no longer win the EPL this season. He recently revealed that the points difference between the Reds and table-toppers Manchester City is simply too large to overcome.

According to him, it is a fact that Liverpool targeted the EPL and UCL this season, but that is far from achievable right now with the form the club has shown in recent times.
He then added that Liverpool will surely not give up in the coming matches, as it is not in the club’s DNA to do that.
His words, “First of all, before the end of the season I think, not only me, but every single player in the squad has targets. It’s the same for the club,”
“Our target from the beginning was [winning] the Champions League, the Premier League and also cup games. And now, I can say it’s over for the Premier League … it’s too much.”
“In our head, our self-belief, it’s always ‘never give up’, and we won’t give up, but for sure, Manchester [City] are a good team and they’re flying.”
