Super Eagles midfielder, John Obi Mikel, who currently plays for Trabzonspor has said he does not feel comfortable playing amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Mikel believes the right thing to do is for authorities in Turkey to cancel the rest of the season.
According to him, forcing players against their wishes is not comfortable for anyone because there is more to life than football.
He added that every footballer should be allowed to be with his family and loved ones in this critical time.
His words, “There is more to life than football.
“I do not feel comfortable and don’t want to play football in this situation.
“Everyone should be home with their families and loved ones in this critical time.
“Season should be cancelled as the world is facing such turbulent times.”
