It has been reported that President Bola Tinubu’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, is unconcerned about the likely ruling of the presidential election tribunal.
On Monday, Ngelale made the remark in an interview with Channels Television.
He claims that Tinubu has decided that it is unnecessary to frighten judges over the election petition.

The hearing date for the petitions contesting Tinubu’s February 25 election victory has been set for September 6.
Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) all claimed victory.
According to Ngelale, Tinubu has faith that the panel will make a decision based on the evidence.
He remarked, “unlike some political gladiators in the country, the President sees no need to threaten judicial officers.”
He thinks it’s unnecessary to cast doubt on the honesty of law enforcement. He has faith in the fairness and legitimacy of Nigeria’s justice system.
He has full faith in the judicial system and is certain that the mandate the people of Nigeria gave him freely at the polls would be upheld. The President strongly believes that.
“He will continue to do his share and guarantee that our institutions continue to be respected, not only by him but by all actors, regardless of the outcome of the ruling.
He is not concerned since he is certain of his electoral victory. We think we’ve made the strongest argument, and we have the facts to back it up,” he said.
