Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has said that Nigeria’s reputation is at risk because of the controversy surrounding President Bola Tinubu’s certificate from Chicago State University (CSU), which was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
On Thursday, Atiku addressed a press conference in Abuja, Nigeria.
He also asked the appropriate parties to defend democratic principles by uncovering the truth about Tinubu’s certificate presented to INEC.

As one Nigerian put it, “the reputation of our country is at stake and that affects Nigerians everywhere and wherever they may be.” Atiku declared.
Remember that Tinubu’s transcripts from Chicago State University were made public on Monday?
In accordance with Magistrate Jeffrey Gilbert’s order, CSU Registrar Carl Westberg also took a deposition of the documents on Tuesday.
The President asked for a review of Gilbert’s order granting Atiku’s request for the publication of Tinubu’s academic records last month.
Tinubu’s attorneys argued that the records were irrelevant to Atiku’s case against the President and requested a rehearing of the decision.
