The delay in introducing President Bola Tinubu’s new cabinet members has been explained by Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During a meeting with APC chairmen from around the country on Monday in Abuja, Adamu said that Tinubu had canvassed widely before making his selections.
President Obama has just begun his speech. And he’s holding lengthy discussions with advisors before naming his cabinet picks.

Ministerial nominations will come first. After Mr. President submits them, they will undergo vetting until they are announced.
The President will then formally install his new cabinet members and swear them in.
Afterward, “he will disclose each of them to the country to know which minister is going to which ministry, and how many ministries we are going to have,” Adamau said.
