According to the PAN Niger Delta Elders Forum (PANDEF), neither Peter Obi nor the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had competent legal representation during the presidential election.
Ken Robinson, PANDEF’s National Publicity Secretary, said that the mistakes made in the presentations by counsel for LP and PDP were unfortunate and that it was clear that the attorneys had not done their homework.
When asked about the lengthy 11-hour judgment, Robinson stated, “We followed the extensive judgment because it was elaborate.” The appeals court justices provided an exclusive explanation and ruling.

The statements made by the judges were so clear that even a layman could see that the petitioners did a poor job, and what we saw and witnessed yesterday seems to be sound in that regard.
Those who are unsatisfied with the tribunal’s decision may file an appeal. Without being preemptive, yesterday’s events warranted an exclusive judgment, and the evidence was undeniable. I agree with the verdict.
The trained lawyers who handled such petitions may owe an apology to the masters and principals who hired them, but I say this with the utmost respect. What we saw yesterday suggests they did a poor job.
Emotional outbursts are inevitable, but the court will evaluate the evidence presented, not the witnesses’ feelings. For our part, we’ll encourage anyone who are unhappy with the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to look into their options for appealing the decision.
Nobody should take the law into their own hands for the sake of Nigeria, national unity and peace, and the progress of this country and our democracy as a whole.
