Lotanna Ojukwu, younger brother of the late Biafran leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, claims that Nigeria’s current president, Bola Tinubu, is not the same as Buhari.
The younger Ojukwu claimed that Tinubu does not have the same history with the Igbo people that Buhari did.
On Friday, while answering viewer queries on the Morning Show show on Arise Television, Lotanna Ojukwu made this statement.

He was answering concerns about the security situation in the Southeast.
The incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has been granted an audience with the president, and his release could hinge on the governors’ sincerity.
The fact that a judge has ruled that Nnamdi Kanu should be freed is the most crucial detail.
We are aware that Buhari did not hold the Igbos in high esteem. His description of us as a “dot in the spot” was particularly insulting. So, I’ve always been honest about the fact that I didn’t think Buhari would free Nnamdi Kanu whenever the topic comes up in conversation.
But Tinubu, in my opinion, is not the same person. Unlike Buhari, he doesn’t seem to have any preexisting bias against the Igbo.
Furthermore, I hope to see improved relations between the Yoruba and the Igbo people.
