Al Hilal defender Joao Cancelo has come out to say that Vinicius Junior was a very difficult player to face at the Club World Cup. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Brazilian forward is so fast and unpredictabl,e and that makes it hard for any defender to cope with his pace and trickery during matches.
Cancelo, however, added that he loved the challenge because it is always a pleasure to play against the best players.
His words, “He’s very difficult to play against. He’s very fast and unpredictable. He has that Brazilian quality. They’re great players. It’s always a pleasure to play against the best.
Madrid is a very strong team. Very big. People didn’t expect such a strong response from Al Hilal. We held Madrid back a bit. We were superior in the first half, but Madrid is the favourite and improved in the second.
The favourite to win the Club World Cup is PSG.”
