The World Health Organization has in commemoration of the global diabetes day given update on the disease. The World Health Organization stated that diabetes is preventable if people live a simple proven life style.

The World Health Organization, has therefore advised that people should maintain a healthy weight, eat healthily with little sugar, salt, less fat, more vegetable and engage in physical activities.
According to the World Health Organization the type2 diabetes is caused by relative factors like age, weight, diet, lifestyle, family history etc.
The World Health Organization further stated that people suffering from obesity are liable to get diabetes, also persons who are 45 years and above are mostly to get the disease.
