The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has lashed out at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors who are supporting Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Wike expressed strong disapproval, stating that the governors must be “sick” if they fail to acknowledge that he is “bigger” than all of them combined.
Wike made these remarks during a grand reception organised in his honour by the Rivers Ijaw Peoples Congress in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

The event saw the attendance of prominent PDP figures, including Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who are members of the former G5 group.
Addressing the gathering, Wike said, “Don’t ever think they are fighting me; they are not fighting me. I’m too big.”
He further added, “If you don’t recognize someone who is bigger than you, then you are sick. I’m far, far bigger than all of them put together.”
The former Rivers State governor also dismissed the threats circulating within the political arena, calling them “empty.”
He stressed that soon, the relevance of each political figure will become evident, saying, “Let nobody threaten anybody; all those threats are empty. Soon we will know who is relevant.”
Wike also reaffirmed his position regarding the PDP’s structure in Rivers State, insisting that no one would take control of the party’s framework.
He stated, “I said nobody will take over the structure of the party. You can have all the money; if it didn’t dey, it didn’t dey.”
Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara have been at odds since Fubara assumed office, despite previous attempts at reconciliation.
