From his contributions to the success of Drake‘s hit, ‘One Dance’, to his recent unveiling of new acts on his Starboy Records and also grabbing nominations for the 2016 BET Awards, the year continues to be a fulfilling one for Wizkid.
The Starboy, who wears his Ojuelegba heart on his sleeves, continues to sell out arenas all over the continent in the second phase of his world tour.
Having successfully performed to packed arenas in Cameroon and Senegal, with the excited crowd defying the rains and filling up the 20,000-capacity venue in the latter country, Wizzy took his tour to Niger.
‘40,000 came out for the kid!!, Man of the people, Thank you Niger…Starboy World tour,’ he wrote of the incredible reception he received in the African country.
It continues to be a busy period for Wiz who still has huge upcoming shows such as; One Hell of a Nite concert in Amsterdam alongside top acts like August Alsina, Chris Brown and also the Wireless Music Festival concert in London alongside artistes like Miguel, DJ Calvin Harris among others in July.
It’s definitely Wizzy season!
