Wolverhampton Wanderers defender, Romain Saiss has come out to say that injuries to Rui Patricio and Raul Jimenez will affect the club this season. He recently revealed that the absence of both players even showed in the team’s performance vs Liverpool.

According to him, however, he is certain that Raul’s injury will not keep him out for long because it was not as bad as the one that knocked Jimenez out.
He added that Wolves will keep pushing despite the Injury setbacks, and he expects performances to improve.
His words, “Yes [it was hard] because of what happened to Raul [Jimenez] but fortunately Rui [Patricio] was awake on the pitch and in the dressing room,”
“We are really confident because he looks not worse than Raul, but of course it’s not good to have this kind of injury in your team again. I saw him after with the doctor and he is awake which is most important to us.”
“We kept pushing after the injury of Rui, we tried to push to score the goal to make the draw but unfortunately we didn’t achieve it. I think we did pretty well.”
On the Liverpool game and an overlooked penalty call, “It was clearly a penalty [when Semedo went down]. I think the referee lost a bit the control of the game in the second half but we have to do more to score goals.”
