Ycee has emerged as the Best African Hip Hop Artist at the 2017 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The Nigerian rapper clinches the award for his single ‘Juice’ at the ceremony which held at the Eko Convention Center, Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
Ycee battled competition from some of the continent’s best, including South Africans AKA, Emtee and Nasty C. Moroccan French Montana was also nominated.
The singer signed to Tinny Entertainment enjoyed a great year. He released his debut project, “The First Wave” which produced the single ‘Juice’.
At the event, Ycee also performed the record ‘Juice’.
