Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said All Progressives Congress (APC) will emerge victorious in Saturday’s Governorship and State Assembly elections in Kwara State with a wider margin than the one experienced during the Presidential and National Assembly polls.
Mr Lai said past elections have been reviewed and strategies are in place to attract more votes for the APC on Saturday.
He urged voters in the state to shun the threats from PDP to tamper with the peace of the elections, assuring them that the government will ensure their security.
His words, “We have been hearing a lot of things that they have imported a lot of thugs to Kwara to disrupt the Saturday’s elections.
“If anyone does so, he or she will be risking his or her life.
“We are appealing to our people that the Federal Government is going to provide adequate security for all.”
