    Abdullahi Abbas, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, has called on members to punish any member of the opposition caught rigging elections in 2023.

    Abbas said opposition members caught rigging any election should be attacked and nothing will happen.

    The APC Chairman made the call during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected chairmen of the 44 Local government councils in the state in Kano yesterday.

    “Attack and punish anybody you see trying to steal votes during the forthcoming 2023 election.

    “If you find any opposition rigging the election, don’t spare him. Finish him instantly and nothing will be done.

    “This is my punishment. Punishment for anybody rigging election. Nothing would be done,” Abbas declared.
